E. Marie Robertson is an artist, writer and sagacity sage/mojo magician living in Anderson, SC. Her studio, Art-in-Progress, specializes in photo, video, mixed reality and encaustic painting, and provides training, including mini-retreats and workshops, for artists interested in expanding their creativity and tapping more deeply into their authentic voices. Her blog, ArtLifeNow, offers practical and tactical advice for artists every Wednesday. She is currently an Artist-in-Residence for cycle 10 of virtual world Second Life's Linden Endowment for the Arts, and is hard at work on two significant digital platform artworks. "Migration," a 3DVR data visualization experience of the Syrian refugee crisis, will debut this spring via Open Sim (in conjunction with Indiana-based artist John Fillwalk). "Blue," a multi-level journey from despair to joy, will also open the first week of March in Second Life on Linden Endowment for the Arts sim LEA 25.
